Crocs are fail.

Crocs were born of the economic boom.

The colorful foam clogs appeared in 2002, just as the country was recovering from a recession. Brash and bright, they were a cheap investment (about $30) that felt good and promised to last forever. Former president George W. Bush wore them. Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler wore them. Your grandma wore them. They roared along with the economy, mocked by the fashion world but selling 100 million pairs in seven years.

Then the boom times went bust, and Crocs went to the back of the closet.

_{i am a very quiet and shy person, even though i thought i grew out of it. i don’t care what people think of me, because i know i am special in my own personal way. i'm very nice when i break my shell and you actually get to know me, and i care deeply for my friends. i’m not impressionable and have adorable style. i’m nothing special, though people say otherwise. i am prone to nervousness and anxiety attacks very easily. i am a rather weak person because of it, and i hate it.

i don't like being hurt or having the inkling feeling that people hate me just because i am a little too nice.

i don't really care for people that judge me before they know me. offer me a kind word and i’ll gladly return it. accept me for what I am!

COSPLAY EXPERIENCE:
I actually started cosplaying in '07, when I went to my first ever anime convention. Anime Central, 2007. I epic failed at trying to portray Holland from Eureka 7 and thought about giving up. Well, I didn't.

2008 rolled around and I found myself with 2 good cosplays. One, of which was my friend Alex's whiich she retiired, another was a Commissioned cosplay. I went as Guy Cecil from Tales of the Abyss and Sasuke from Naruto Shippudden. The community was so nice an accepting, and i loved all the compliments and photos I was asked for.

late 2008 rolled around and that was when I found the characetr just for me. Lelouch Lamperougue from Code Geass. I debuted him at Soycon in late July 2008 and i was fail. My cosplay sucked, as did my wig.

I pushed myself further and went to Youmacon 2008 as Guy Cecil again and retired him there, alogn with Hayato Gokudera from Reborn, and retired him there as well.

Over the past months I've figured out what to do with my cosplays to make them more accurate, where to get high quality wigs from, etc etc.

Cosplay has opened up a whole new world for me, and I will never forget all the friends I've made along the way.
